No kidding. That should be the first course we take when we start high school. Why the next four years of your life won't mean anything to the rest of it.

Won't be directly related and won't mean anything are not interchangeable here. Those four years aren't wiped from memory once they are over, nor is the damage that may have been done.

I pretty much forgot those people by my freshman year of college. Teasing and bullying is pack behavior. Reminds me of dogs. I have no respect for it. If I have no respect for something, I don't waste my time thinking about it. It's their problem if they want to act like dogs in a pack occasionally. That skill set is not desirable in a work place or a dating environment. The fact that it is tolerated at all is pathetic. Like I said, if I can't respect it (which I never did), I can't waste my time with it.

Two of the boys who teased kids in school committed suicide. One is in prison for killing an entire family while driving drunk after his wife left him. Another one lives with his parents after being laid off from his job in the car factories. The last one is an alcoholic and lives on welfare. I have nothing to envy there. Obviously, that behavior did not help them at all in life. I certainly should not have given my precious minutes of life being angry at or hurt by them.

I guess that's the benefit to growing up in a small town where everyone knows everyone and no one ever leaves. You find out what happened to all of them. It helps to put them into perspective. I guess I should mention that they were all the most popular boys who were on the football team as well. It still didn't do anything for them.

Don't waste your minutes on people who hurt you. Just move on. It is not worth it. You don't get a refund or a rollover.

How they turned out has no bearing on what they did to others, and how it may have hurt others. The fact that many of them had untimely ends does not lessen the impact of their actions in the slightest.

Send him a message (or another?) requesting it. If he refuses, do what you will with your copy of the response.
