I love kissing the right person....

the wrong person...well, I'd rather sort the garbage recyclables really.

I've had two really great kissers in my life...one at 16 and one now...

sometimes you have to wait a long time between really good kisses.

Nope.

I think a kiss conveys so much more than mouths touching...

Actually, I should add that my mouth is probably a highly sensory point for me...hence the fussiness of the touch...don't mean to be unfair on any of my ex-kissers.

Kissing is yummy when you're kissing the right person. :D

Actually, I've never seen him do that.
And he's been castrated, so he doesn't
lick much else either.

From a purely anthropological point of view, it may have arisen from the act of "kiss-feeding", where a parent animal feeds its offspring partially digested food through mouth-to-mouth contact (you see it most often in birds these days).

From a slightly less detached point of view... I guess it provides intimacy and trust between partners. Or it feels nice. Or something. I have no idea anyway, so that's probably just wild theory.

usually people do it as an expression of love, though people are entitled to their own opinion on whether it is yucky or not

My first kiss happened when I was 16. And it was a surprise because I had missed every clue that she liked me.

I was like 8O and then :o and then :D
