Life is about compromise. I knew a PhD student in the 1990s who was 22 yrs old and was dating a 45 year old woman. They eventually got married after he submitted his PhD. He was 25 and she was 48.

But isn't dating a woman with kids a huge compromise though, if the OP does not want a woman with kids?

Good question! no they didn't. She wasn't interested in kids as she married one :wink:

Actually you won't believe this but he was 5foot6 and she was 6foot tall. He must have liked tall ladies > young ones.

You know what! thats what it looked like when they were together! she was very presentable for her age and maybe he played dress ups in his room with her.
