Thanks. :)

Jawbrodt hasn't a chance to pop back in here yet, but he wants to come to the party too. He's secretly very good at chick talk. Either that or he lied and he's really just in it for the ice cream.

^I've no doubt, after that last post. He's right. He's quite persuasive. He can use us for the ice cream as long as he keeps saying nice things. 8)

He's only allowed in in his pj's, though.

Busted. I made that s**t up for the ice cream. Nah, if I find a situation I can relate to, I like to try and help. I've spent countless hours analyzing myself, so there are quite a few different circumstances that i've put some thought into, especially when it's AS related. Glad to be of some help. And thanks. :)

I don't know about the PJ idea though? Unless the both of you can handle boxer-briefs, then we might have a problem. :chin:

You'd be OK if it were winter 'cause I wear jogging pants, then.

A PJ party huh? I probably wouldn't be welcome as I either sleep with a shirt and boxers on, or nothing at all.

I don't think I can have ice cream without blushing anymore anyway. I had a pen pal a while back and one time we started describing ways we would use ice cream sexually if we ever met. I miss those times.......

Bah. SF - This was an entirely PG thread until you took it to the gutter.

Okay look guys...this is serious chick talk so if you come over, PJ's are welcome but don't expect it to turn into an orgy. I can totally see where you guys are heading with this. :P

Meh, we're all adults here. Come as you like. I'm with Goddess, though. The only orgy that will be happening is faces full of creamy, milky goodness.

Oh. Wait. That didn't help any, did it?

Goddess and jawbrodt, would you be willing to proofread my email to send? (yeah--still in twelve year-old mode) Can I pm it to you? I'm not sure if I'm not getting to the point directly enough and if I'm being too self-deprecating.

This is hard. :help:

Absolutely. Send it on over, chica. Jawbrodt will be cool with it too.

That kind of ruined my appetite for ice cream though. :eew:

Update to the update:

I just spent over an hour with him on gmail chat.

Nothing too personal came up except we got on the topic of ADD (which he has, too) and I was talking about stuff I do to help with focus and anti-anxiety. Don't know if this is coincidental but as soon as anxiety was mentioned, he was like "gotta go bye". Hmmmm.... Other than that, he was quite conversational and seemingly comfortable and responsive.

Arg, this changes my planned approach. Back to the drawing board.

Well, that and I wanted to be the one to sign off first. It's a girl thing that I never get right.

That's all part of the flight response... talking about generic stuff may seem boring to you, but it allows him to get comfortable with the very idea of talking to you, and helps smooth things in the future... Also, be sure to get the point across that it's perfectly okay to say that he needs some time to think about it, but be sure to tell you that he needs that time, so that it doesn't feel like he's just snubbing you... He probably doesn't understand that failing to answer entirely can have such an adverse effect...
