sorry you took my comments the wrong way.
I was making my comments, not to criticize you, but to offer encouragement.
I used to have crushes on people too. I used to get hurt once in a while too.
My comments were more what I learned over the years to deal with the whole 'i'm interested in someone, I let them know, i'm rejected and devestated" thing.
As for the "pin up/girl scout" comment - that was my way of describing how we tend to put the objects of our crushes/desires on pedestals. It is important to remember that the objects of our desires are just human. Hence, I said making contact and establishing whether there is mutual interest will keep you grounded.
