Despite my eloquence (Yay ego) I don't feel words accurately describe emotion of that caliber. To be honest, I think it would be physical, should I find "the one" and get comfortable enough to bypass the inherent anxiety of touching and being touched, I believe the act of touching would be extremely emotionally invoking.

Does "verbal affirmations" cover mad erratic, hopefully endearing, rambling emails written and sent in the middle of the night? :D

I pummel my very good friend with fancy, very rich European truffels and organic chocolate bars whenever I can...they have a very positive effect on his mental state (he is prone to rage and meltdowns), and also, since he is constantly several lbs underweight, the extra fat does not hurt...It is so cute when he scuttles off to his lair and refuses to share any till the bag is almost gone.

I get various chocolate covered nuts for my main partner Flakey...

I do bits and pieces of all the other ones...

I am a bit of a gifter...I like finding them stuff that they collect.

They count, but from my experience, they may not always be the best idea...

I would suggest it is the latter and he/she is quite simplistic with their ‘Five Languages’ list. This is about readership and sales not anything more substantive than that. That’s not even mentioning how on earth you define Love in the first place.

this is "Cosmo psychology" equals, it doesn't have to be deep ;)

Mmmmmmm delicious creamy milk chocolate, wonderfully bitter and tasty dark chocolate, oh so smooth white chocolate, it's all completely amazing.

And mixing chocolate! Chocolate and peanut butter, chocolate and ice cream, chocolate and caramel, Dark chocolate and white chocolate, Chocolate (the original drink), Chocolate drink (aka Yoohoo) Cacao beans, hot chocolate, Mocha coffee...

I could go on, but I need to go to the store and get some chocolate.

1. Yes I'm good with words so I would express often
2. Hand holding would be about it. Even that feels entrapping
3. I often do acts of service for people so this would be pretty high
4. Quality time is good but there is such a thing as too much
5. No way. My rule is don't send don't receive (except for birthday parties and special occasions but I hate receiving)

I vote for quality time but I meant acts of service. I misclicked

My love languages:
Quality time (my primary language), touch, gifts (depending on what it is)

Possible explanations for the results:

1) Verbal affirmations (e.g., You are great; I love you, etc.)- People with Asperger's tend to feel like repeating the same phrase of affirmation is too redundant. They can't sense the emotion in what people are saying.
2) Physical touch (includes sex)- People on the upper end of the spectrum tend to be unusually responsive to touch.
3) Acts of service (doing something for another person)- It's a practical way of showing love, and Aspies have a practical view of love.
4) Spending quality time- Aspies like it when people will listen to them talk bout
5) Giving gifts
