That's not a solution - if you date someone you aren't romantically interested in, then you're wasting their time as well as yours.

And your point is what now? :D

Romance is way overrated.

The problem a lot of aspies seem to have is that they put relationships (and the occasional overpriced vadge they entail) on this pedestal that makes them all weepy and emo about it.

Relationships can be a lot of work and you don't want to rush into one with someone you don't know. I suggests getting to know the girls to where you can talk with them before trying to have a relationship with other random girls.

By that analogy, baseball, New York-style pizza, and Apple computers all suck...
Yeah Baseball sucks it's too long nothing exciting happens through most of the game but the pizza and the computer are good plus football is good too just don't like it myself though.

therange implied that you should pretend you love someone for the sake of getting them as a date. My point is that pretending to be in love with someone is a waste of time and emotional energy, and, if the girl doesn't know what your motives are, then she's likely to be pretty upset when she finds out you don't really feel that way about her.

Does that make more sense? :)

I'm not saying to pretend you're in love with someone. I'm saying if you're an overweight or ugly guy, to adjust your standards accordingly and go for the female equivalent.

Oh. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
