I disagree. I know a couple that broke up once. Now they're married, they have 4 children and they seem like the happiest and most stable couple I know. Maybe it's all just an illusion, but they've been together for about 10 years now I think.

I guess its really depending on the person on the couple and it works both ways, if one has feelings and the other doesn't, then there's no match, maybe those two have those good feelings for each other and they both worked on their relationship, thats why it worked out.

In most case's not a wise idea unless your one of the person (like me) would take the risk but it would only end up you getting hurt even more.

Getting back with your ex is great if you aren't doing it at all out of desperation, know what went wrong the first time, and know what you're getting into. Really, it is that simple. The taboo against reconnecting with once-lovers with the intent of being together again is one borne or fear, however understandable.

Getting back with your ex can be bad or good. If you think you still like them, and they like you then it can be the right thing. But then again there was a reason you broke up in the first place.
