Thanks Sound. I'm sure I wouldn't have the curiosity if it wasn't for my sister/parents being married. I just know I want some things done differently with me is all. :-) Thanks again!! :-)

What do you mean? I don't understand.

BTW, I tossed in an edit in the prior post.

Well like chocolates/roses etc. give me a $60 videogame don't waste time on Valentines dinner take me the weekend before/after Valentines, that sort of thing it doesn't always have to be candy/flowers/jewelry. :-) Sadly I think I'd be a tough girlfriend with all my Aspie faults. :-( I'm not sure if a guy would be willing to look beyond them. Plus I'm more expensive as I said a $60 videogame not a $10 box of chocolate. (If I like you enough make it a multiplayer game I'll pay for online and a second controller LOL!) :-)

A) So long as you're willing to grow yourself as a person, keep putting in some effort, become better as time goes on, then it's assured that you will meet someone who's perfectly willing to put up with a couple quirks.

B) Relationships and feelings aren't bought and sold. I'll bet you could get along with a guy just fine who didn't ever buy you things, so long as he treated you right otherwise.
Which is not to say gifts aren't cool, but a lot of people seem to lose perspective. It's about good companionship, not material goods.
If you could only choose one, which would you prefer? For him to buy you a game, or for him to reliably stick around and join you, because he knew you liked the company?

I'd want someone I can feel comfortable around and would like to be around me as much as I liked being around him that made me feel secure etc.
