maybe i didn't fall i love per say, maybe it was anzity or nausea. or maybe because i hadn't been in that situation before and reacted strangely.

i have quit wow been that way for almost a month now.

well the only thing don't regret is building up my character and getting her as strong as i could. infact she is the only thing i miss, besides my grypon i paid several thousand gold for. the game was teadious and hard. like having the strat horse drop at 1% which is bull i ran that dungeon so many times and never got the horse.

The whole drop %, or ratio, or whatever you want to call it is not why someone should want to play the game. As ive told others, "Why spend your time looking for something that has no corporeal value in the real world." Besides, when another expansion comes out, your X level Epic becomes an outdated POS. Admittedly, ive played about every general aspect of the game: Solo play (fun because you go at your own pace), Groups/Dungeons (good change in pace, plus different enemies that require some level of strategy), Raids (only at lvl 80, but they were the most fun Ive had . . . but got lucky in being in a pretty fun/casual/friendly raid guild), PvP (i loved the BGs and the chance to test what ive learn about my character/class combinations against others), and Arena (hard as hell in 2v2, and 3v3, and not very fun against/with those who take the game WAY too seriously). The only tedious part of the game is leveling, but at the same time its also pretty changeless . . . which becomes boring.

i started playing the game because my friend wanted me too [my real friend] i didn't know the drop rate for items was so horrible, and my wow friend was the one that told me to go run the dungeon till i got it.

now the winterspring tiger that was mostly something i wanted myself.

so no i didn't want to try to get the baron's horse.

either way bottom line is after being so turned off to mmo's because of what happened in conquer i should have stayed away. but i want to spend time with my friend cause we hardly ever see each other, to me the game was something to spend time with her, it just ended up going a bit to far in the end.

as for trying to get rare things that was never my intent i was happy with green armor and what little i had, it was black that pushed all the rest of the stuff on me, he wanted to make me the ultimate warrior which is what i played. i ended up getting epics from dungeons and all but it didn't make me happy, by the end of the game i felt the game was a job something i had to do, it wasn't fun anymore.

i know i shouldn't let one person influence me like that but at one time he was a friend he didn't push me he was kinda like dice actually, dice was my friend in conquer who was the only one not to ditch me when i was kicked from my guild, he was a true friend.
