Ya most of you wouldn't mind a talky girlfriend AWESOME! I agree I might want to talk about some of THERE interest but also agree we should pretty much HOLD a common interest or 2 to make a relationship work. :-)

I think a lot of guys will appreciate talkative, especially if we don't know what to say at the moment. Plus, in the context of a relationship, you can always stare in admiration, or use affection to shut down the conversation.

I finally got around to making a post in Eligible Odd Bodds, if you're interested in checking it out.

I would probably grant a certain amount of leeway for someone to talk about their interests. But it would get boring after a while for the person to talk about the same thing over and over again, incessantly. I don't mind talkative, but it's like... please, variation sometimes. Actually flow with a conversation.

My best friend, who is likely an Aspie and just not diagnosed, always rambles on about his job. Even to total strangers. I'm sitting there like... can you talk about something different for once?

Psychology is way better than any book.

Twilight was good for quite a few laughs, but I doubt I could bear to watch it twice.

I've read all the Harry Potter books and seen all the movies and would be able to discuss it. Psychology is also interesting. But I'd probably be the one talking until you rolled your eyes.

Probably going to get hit on again LOL! But I have many interests as an Aspie I go on and on talking about the latest Potter flick/Twilight/*insert movie/show here* and dad rolls his eyes huffs and puffs and overall acts like he doesn't care. and while I'm talking about the latest Potter movie months in advance the most me/him chat about is after seeing the movie otherwise he's too busy watching his American Idol/Survivor etc. and overall doesn't tend to care about my interest. So fellow guys here on WP would you mind me talking your ear off on these topics? and don't get me started when I get back into learning Psychology you'll never shut me up!! !! LOL!

I hate Twilight, but if you talked to me about Harry Potter and psychology I'd be interested, yeah.
