So I was wondering how the guys on here feel about dating ranges. Would you date a woman/girl much younger or older than you and by how many years?

Most women won't even consider dating a guy younger then themselves so I think you've got that part back to front. The guy's probably 'refuse' it only on the grounds they'd never be considered by an older woman if they chased one. There is also another factor that a lot of single older women are likely to have children, so maybe the guys you are referring to don't want the baggage that come with that.

Half my gf's have been older and half of them younger then I am. My general age range is between 21 and 30 although this isn't a major factor for me, I judge each person on their own merits. The girl I'm currently keen on is only just about to turn 19.

I think 5 years either way is about right, but it's not a hard rule.

My girlfriend is 16, and I'm 19. However, she's turning 17 in a couple of weeks. And she's a bit more mature than most girls her age. There's a Wikipedia article that answers this very well, or at least there was at one point.

Has anyone heard of that whole "half your age plus seven" rule?

Well, THEORETICALLY [! !!] I don't have an age limit, as long as they are adult. Even if she were 18 she would still behave as more of an adult than me. As soon as I become comfortable with someone I become a 15 year old. It doesn't matter to me how old she is. As long as we bond, that's all that counts.

Since I turn 25 in a few weeks, anything in the 20s I'm fine with.

It's quite common in my area to see guys with much younger women. For some odd rezone the women seem to go for guys that are much older than em; like old enough to be their fathers or 2wice their age even 8O I don't really care about age differences much because I'm extremely immature in some ways for my age. As long as the woman was an adult; age would not be a problem for me. I have no issues with being friends with someone who's under 18 but I won't consider a relationship with em even thou I probably won't get in any trouble sense it's a common trend here for like 15year-old girls to be with guys in there late 20s or 30s. I kind of think that part of the rezone I'm alone is because I don't want to date someone who's a minor & still in high-school. I cant figure out why girls seem to go for much older guys; I'm only 27 so I think it'll be easier for me to find someone in a few years.

Not been a great success with women - had one 18 month relationship with someone 6 years younger after 3 weeks with someone 6 years older. I was 24 when I got with both.

Can't be too fusy right now though as nobody seems to be interested.

At my age right now I'd probably go from ages 18 to 23. Since I'm a guy, getting a girl who is older then me would be hard since girls prefer older guys most times.

I'm honestly indifferent of an age difference of plus 10 years or minus 8 years.

This issue irritates me. I'm 31. Ideally, I'd like to date someone who's at least 25. But everytime I meet a girl who I actually find interesting and enjoy talking with, she'll only be 19 - 20. Yes, she's legal, but that doesn't make it seem any less creepy.

18 (must be a mature 18 year old, personality wise)-25 is probably about right. I'm 22.

Yes.

Around 18-45... i can give exceptions if the woman still looks ok. I don't go lower than 18 for legal reasons, and i'm not really into holding hands and that "romantic waiting" BS...

But other than that, i cannot care less about age. If both me and my penis gets interested in a girl/woman, then it can result in a date...

There are more important factors (Smoking, Drugs, Politics, Religion, Kids) that decide. Then again a date happens rarely nowdays, i rate about 95% of the feminin side of humanity as undateable.

No older than 5 years.

No younger than 2 years.

I am 20. An 18 YO must be very mature in personality
and intense in what she wants in arelationship.

Same for a 25 YO woman.

My mom is older than my dad by 8 months. I don't care how much older or younger as long as its compatible. Obviously I'm not gonna date some grandma on the verge of her deathbed or a small child.

Theoretically, my "limit" would be 25/26. Obviously, I wouldn't be against liking someone a bit older...but to be honest, I'd prefer someone younger (but not too young!) >_>
