I didn't say that she wasn't good enough for me, physically. I did want her to lose the weight though pretty bad. Nothing funny about it. I liked her because we had common interests and philosophies on life. She really wasn't as good as she made herself out to be "I beat Final Fantasy X in XX hours" damn I could never do it that fast....months later she's playing it and she needs my help and I'm asking why she needs my help "I never really played it I just let my ex do it for me". Oh and she quit doing drugs about a year before I met her but pills and weed aren't drugs. Not even when she's crushing a pill to snort a line.

There were far worse things about her than her weight FUNNY!

you didn't mention anything else 'worse'. YOU only referred to the fact that she had less trouble picking people up than you did, even though she is 60 lbs overweight. you seemed to think you would find it easier than her because you are not fat.... shock! horror! gasp! some guys like fat chicks! and even consider them hot!

the guys are there, but sometimes you need to work on confidence *internally* in order to make *external* progress. i know that there is no easy way to go about this, but the better you feel about yourself, the more chance you will have with guys at uni. i'm no hottie at all, but i get lots of overtures (even when i was a plus-size student in school). don't take guys' opinions on here too seriously - they are way pickier than most NT men!

There are entire dating sites dedicated to hooking up overweight women with men who are into that sort of thing.

On my uni course two of my colleagues hooked up with long term partners through this site. One of them ended up married to a high flying city statistician whos absolutely loaded.

They describe themselves like that because they don't want to seem boring. They are morons. Like as if someone will love them more if they go to a certain gym or goes out to clubs every friday? It can just as well mean anorexic or alcoholic instead of "cool person to hang with and bang with" like they want to portray it as :P

I said it before and i'll say it again: datingsites are a waste of time.
