I'm not trying to impress anyone, that never occurred to me
my health is fine now, that job sucked ass and I was going to quit the week I begun to get really sick

I can't speak for everyone, but it's your view of women as a group that I have issues with.

I don't care if I'm not the one personally attacked, but when someone treats another person like dirt I always have this weird urge punch him/her/it in the face.

yeah, i didn't think you were engineering anything, but i was just putting it out there that it is indeed impressive to some women!

work for the government - they lurve people with special needs.

today I did invent a form of exercise I plan to write a book about (after I test it)

It is NOT only the guys here who are sexist. Some of the women on WP seem very sexist towards Aspie men on some post in this section as well as the adult section. I am NOT claiming that us men are not sexist but some of us feel like we are getting attacked by women when we make post trying to express our frustration. I have gotten some extremely hateful PMs from a couple female members who are calling me & other Aspies wife-beaters

Where I ever said anything bad about ALL women or even most women? And I never blamed women...I just said, it is what it is.

Do you really want the unattractive, awkward men on here to have false hope that they can attract a beautiful NT woman? That's how stalkers are born.

If anything, the women on here should be flattered that I say that a guy can get a woman with his personality. Unfortunately, it's bad enough being decent to good looking and Aspie and trying to keep an attractive NT woman...but both unattractive and awkward is the nail in the coffin...and that isn't the woman's fault...or the guy's fault either. It's only the guy's fault for having unrealistic standards.

While I agree in that some people post extremely sexist crap and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a woman, this forum is a support forum for folks like us that have the issues. All you're doing is going around being pissed at people that need said support. So... it sounds like you're the one that needs to get a hobby.

nilescrane, i don't think it's just a matter of high and low standards to be honest. it's a matter of seeing the person underneath, and appreciating people for reasons other than looks.

no one enjoys seeing people blatantly ignore advice and insult us, when you act like no one is on your side and no one knows what its like
thats insulting, you know that

I might be picking a bone with people, but they need to wake up and see the mess they are in and dig themselves out
or they, or you, will never be happy
no one is coming for you
you have to go to them

I might talk about looks, but it's both for me personally. I have to be attracted to the woman (which rarely happens and has no rhyme or reason...no particular body type or anything)...and then have a connection with her where it feels like I'm talking to a family member or a close guy friend and I can be the real me around her and vice versa. That has only happened once in my life...and there was potential for another time....but she was just in town visiting her family and we went on a coffee date but the conversation went really well.

That's part of the reason why I don't mind being single. I realize how rare that kind of connection really is, and I have no interest in casual dating or recreational sex, at least intentionally seeking out recreational sex.

But the more they accuse Aspie guys of being sexist; the more sexist it makes the women look. New male members joining this forum may see those hatefull post about Aspie guys that were made by women & the guys will think that the Aspie women are sexist & those members may start arguing with em & the vicious cycle continues. Accusing each other of being sexist will NOT help anything.

I'm on their side because they didn't make these men sexist
you can't blame them for disliking people, and you can't expect them to just take the sexist s**t and turn a blind eye because "ooh some might see it, blah blah blah"
not how life works

This is NOT about sides & who is sexist & who isn't. Both the men & women here are sexist. Playing the blame game about who is more sexist will only make the fighting worse. Both the men & the women here need to start trying to get along
