I find that comment to be insulting and untrue.

I find it a mere observation, and very true.

As for Xenu, nice job! Hope it lasts.

We've been talking for a long time, and I really liked her, my friend told me that she also really liked me so I just asked her out :). It's going pretty well so far :). It was very hard to ask her out though, didn't really know what to say lol but I'm shocked and very glad it's turned out and is turning out so good :).

Explain how you find it to be true. I see it as an "observation" that can only be made by assuming the people who come on here complaining they can't get girls represent all Aspies, which is false. I've said time and time again that you cannot make any kind of a judgment of a group based on forum posts because people only make threads when they need support, they rarely make threads every day telling us that they feel happy.

agreed. also, since more males than females have asperger's, and since more males than females complain on this site, it seems like there is a preponderance of male single aspies compared to every other group on earth.

but... mathematically, for every single male there is a single female. if a lot of the single men out there are aspies and rejected because of that (not likely true, but for the sake of argument), then what is the basis under which so many of the unmatched women have been rejected? on what forum are these lonely ladies complaining like these aspie men are complaining? because they must exist too.

Women who are weird to same level of most of the Aspies on here are less likely to be rejected because of it. The reasons for this are various and differ depending on individual circumstances.

And yes, I know I'm now going to get a bunch of women on here telling me this isn't true, and they're right of course - it isn't true for many women on this forum. But the majority, who don't have any problems because of their weirdness, won't be on this forum, will they?

but their condition doesn't make them any worse off than women who are also rejected. and many, many aspie women are also rejected, if you want to take this forum as some kind of gospel truth. but since they are fewer in number, their voices are quieter. if thre are 5 (or whatever) times as many aspie men in existence, then 5 times as many men will complain on a forum. that doesn't make their situation worse than an aspie female's situation.

the point is that both men and women are rejected in equal numbers, and neither gender is worse off.

Well we don't really know that because the situation of Aspie females has a lot of questions to answered. We still don't know, for example, if women are simply underdiagnosed because their nature means they're able to hide their symptoms better than males.

If we assume that this isn't true and that there are just less female Aspies (something we can't really do, but we can assume for this argument), then yes, you're right.

But, until all the questions are answered, we don't know for sure.

exactly, so people need to stop arguing that aspie males are worse off, because we don't actually know the truth.

A fair point.

Notice I just referred to girls who are weird to the extent of most members of this forum, not Aspies specifically.
