sorry but come on everyone needs relationships in thier lives.

What about non autistic men who are shy and not great social skills they must suffer as well?

I know lots who have a very difficult time & I know women who also lots of problems finding dates because of their looks or their personalities. I think me & some other Aspies would do much better in a relationship than trying to find one because of our social issues which is why we should have arrange marriages so we can skip that step

It's called book a flight to Cambodia, Vietnam, India, or China.

Why do you think aspie men have it harder than shy non autistic guys?

We tend to be more clumsy, more, direct, take things more literally ect

I don't? You can generalise (again) it's down to each individual.

Logical firewall. You can rehabilitate a shy NT. You can't change an aspie - unless that aspie commits suicide. Our brains are defective, we have piss poor social skills because our brains operate on logic over emotion.

Apparently, you get hamburgers at the same place my dad went to school.

People fail to realize how much injustice and sexisim there is in the dating world.

It has to change

Oh dear, please don't start another 'women have it easier' type thread!

That ^^^

Realize that is isn't some sort of "systemic" injustice, there is no "system" to change.

It just is what it is, deal with it.

1. Realize you actually have it pretty good: what about people with severe disabilities? You actually have a pretty decent shot, there's lots of guys in decent relationships here.

2. Adapt. Do everything in your power to do something that makes you a good candidate for a relationship, I won't go into it here because it's already been said 1,000 times. Keep in mind that doing these things in no way "guarantees" success, it just means that when the right person shows up you will be ready. It might never happen, but just knowing that it might helps keep you going.

3. And when everything else fails, start a whiny thread on WP, that's what I do...

It depends though I live in England. Is the dating world over here different than in America?
