Keep in mind that the above poster's name is Kilroy (as in domo arigato mister roboto), and everyone thinks that the character in his avatar is David Bowie (for more on that, search for Naruto: Abridged on Youtube)

That said, unless you intended said woman purely for sex (in which case your best bet would be a realdoll or something like that), I would be wary of trying to create a woman. For one thing, women are somewhat more intelligent than men, so to create a realistic woman you would have to make it smarter than you who would be creating it. And creating anything smarter than yourself is a sure-fire path to bad s**t happening. Cases in point: V.I.K.I., GLaDOS, Skynet, and X.A.N.A.

And I'm sure there's a comprehensive list somewhere of more AI that were too smart for their own good.

This "accidentally sentient AI apocalypse" BS needs to stop. Hollywood doesn't know the first thing about computer science. Serious researchers (ones with jobs) know that you would have to intentionally design an algorithm that mimics ambition for any of those acronym AIs to even start to become possible.

It's called a joke. Do you know what that is, or do you need me to link to a Wikipedia article to define it?

Actually, both are great. It's just kind of weird/creepy that someone can push the "play" button on the iPod in your head just by writing a few specific words...

Now you're just being an ass. That post had no hint of sarcasm at all, and was pretty standard affair for this forum. Don't back-pedal now.

Well, if you can't appreciate my sense of humor, do me a favor and just don't quote me. Fair?

I realise this is an Aspie forum and that it's hard for people to tell when I'm trying to be funny. But frankly, I'm in a bad mood and right now I don't give a flying f**k. And you're not helping matters either. So just don't respond.
