She has a lot of stuff to deal with. She first announced in my now very long thread about my activities on OKCupid, that she was leaving WP. When I PMed her to ask her why, she replied that she was upset about one particular person in the L&D forum who seems to have some misogynistic attitudes. She's also still dealing with the suicide of her mother.

Jono,

Thanks for your reply! Hope the dating is going well - your OKCupid profile is top notch!

I am sorry to hear about her loss.

In the best and worst of times, I firmly believe that people are what people through. I will be PMing her to communicate my condolences and other thoughts to her!

As to the naysayers and detractors who proliferate strife and conflict in the forums needlessly, they are an insidious sort who are akin to nasty vile, disease-spreading vermin and a bad case of the clap (yes they are nasty and ooze pus)! ! LOL

Thanks again!

Leslie

ToadofSteel (or should I say ToedSteel),

Of course she did not leave because of you! You are always sweet! Worry not, hope does spring eternal my dear ToadofSteel!

Leslie

I don't think so. At least I've never seen you make any posts saying how you hate women or saying what she calls "horrible things about women's bodies". Actually she said that she had enough of several individuals who say they hate women or claim that they have it easier. I've never seen you say any of those things, so I don't think you have to worry.

+1

HappyMusic,

Please PM her. Not a one of us can read minds -if there is something you want her to know - please tell her!

Thanks for your reply!

AFAIK, she's fine, I think she just got a bit fed up. Send her a PM, I'll let her know you were asking after her. :)

Hey Moog,

How are you doing? Thanks for the update! Based upon some of the shenanigans and utter idiocy that occurs in the forums, it is crystal clear to me as to why she would need to take a break! My hope is that she can be lured back because she is a loss. Like you, she is intelligent, sensitive and charming. You are both my kind of people!

I will send her a PM and thanks for letting her know I was inquiring about her!

Hugs,
Leslie

Thanks :)

Hyperlexian says she's sure she'll be back someday.

How much room do you have in there? I feel like taking a vacation - chatting with hyper in some dungeon might be just what I need

*Toad, if you want to know her reasons you should ask her - there's too much crazy gossip going around as it is  *

thanks for your votes of confidence everyone. I don't want to disturb her directly though. I PM'd her right after she posted in the haven about her mother to see if she was alright. At this point I'd rather leave her alone to heal, unless she wants to talk to me.

I wondered where she went.

I hope she's dealing okay with the loss of her mother.

It's that kind of mindset, Toad, it's that kind of mindset.

The haven thread is 2-3 months old and was last commented on weeks before she decided to leave. At this point, if you really want to know how she's doing it's pretty safe to PM her again instead of waiting for her to PM you first.

I'd like to know what's going on with her myself, but PMs awake the agoraphobic in me.

She is fine(I was talking to her a few days ago).

She stated that she would still check her pms so in case you are interested you can send her a pm.

Will do! Perhaps, I need to initiate a Come Back Hyperlexian campaign. When I want to be, I can be rather persuasive!! !

Thanks again!

Good luck with that.

I thought about doing something like a come back campaign but her reply to my pms showed that right now she has no interest on coming back. As some users mentioned she is going through a few things right now so Im waiting sometime before launchin g a come back campaign.

@ToadOfSteel- I agree with menintighs its pretty unlikely she will pm you first, unless she sees your comment(I sent her a link to the thread and she said she liked it) but if ou really wanna talk with her you can send her a pm.

Laz,

I always knew you had a kinky side - now you confirmed it! LOL!! !

Leslie

What do you mean you always knew?

I'm far too sensible you have me confused with one of my many hairy clones that walk the earth sometimes referred to unfairly as Orangutans

Still, the last thing she needs right now is my whining... she's always done right by me.

I Just sent her a pm ranting about how I was unable to relate to most single women I meet and she didnt sound to upset on her reply.
I doubt you can go worse than that.
I wasnt sure if I should send it because certain members here have mentioned the intention of sending her an email but according to her she just received a couple of pms

I miss her posts too, though I read more than I post so she may not even have been aware that I read her posts.

I also miss katzefrau.

Just thought you may wanna know that she is still reading this thread(she told me so a couple of hours ago) so in case you feel like sending her a pm is way to intrusive or something she will probably read what you write here
