Hey low standards is AWESOME. I always assumed most guys are into women with a really thin frame, tight buns, flat abs and the works. Although I can't make guys out to look so bad, cause women do it too. I think our natural instincts, dating from cave man days or whatever, tell us that we should go for fit people because it means they are healthy and care about themselves, and they would make a good partner, where as a fat person may be trouble for you to avoid, in the self esteem department and everything.

But if you seriously have low standards for looks, thats fantastic! I wish I could be that way. But no.... I'm far too picky. I'm a perfectionist with everything in my life (thats why I'm so disappointed too), but this crosses over to what I want in a man too, and I can't help it.... I mean there's no such thing as a PERFECT person, I'd actually like there to be certain flaws, but, as perfect as possible would be awesome! lol. I need to smarten up I know...

I don’t think at all that your lowering your standards your just shifting them from a dysfunctional set of standards that places beauty above all else to a standard where the integrity, kindness, and intelligence matters.

I have very high standards maybe not in outer beauty but rather inner. One of my favorite quotes is "You don't love a woman because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her."
