Does anyone know why this should be so, or has anyone else indeed found the same thing?

My own theory is that it is easier to read the signals of teenage girls, whose giggling friends will happily form a delegation and elaborate quite frankly who is interested/ interrogate their chosen target further.

This has happened to me on numerous occasions, leading to me being somewhat embarrassingly wary - if not petrified! - of groups of teenage girls.

However, I probably flatter myself in thinking that girls my own age must also be in a more subtle way expressing the same sentiments!

Comments welcome.

It's biological. Men go for younger women because of reproduction. Younger women tend to be more attractive than older women. Also, women go for older men because they are more mature, more likely to earn more money than their younger counterparts. I prefer men my age or older. I've always been this way. Older men are more attractive and well, dating a younger guy seems to be weird for me.

Possibly because they think older men will be more mature than the idiotic boys that saturate everyday social interaction.

So then... why are teen boys attracted to me? Am I emotionally immature?

Possibly because they know it will annoy parents...I know someone who's currently 17 dating a guy who is 27 (was with him since I think 15).

They become judgemental as they get older....probably due to their experiences before with guys about that age.

I love women too. I have them, from ~20 to well in their 50's hitting on me all the time... Have to beat them off with a stick sometimes... I can not handle more than one at a time in a relationship.

Or maybe your kewl with the young but really unkewl with older people. Kewlness is all relative & the young have different criteria than the old
