Do hilarious romance movies count?.

In case they do I´d have to say the lake house(sandra bullock version) it has a cute concept but it was done in a far more believable way on the previous version so the whole movie seems like some sort of joke to me.

As an aside almost anything Emma thompson is in(I dont want to give sense and sensibility a go) is great and I loved her on Last chance harvey.

Both her and Kate Winslet were wonderful in Sense & Sensibility. I strongly recommend giving it a try.

That was the first movie I ever fell asleep to. My ex made me watch it

LOL I love that movie. I made my husband watch it. He didn't fall asleep until after the movie was done and he'd benefited from the mood I get into from watching it.

I loved the movie but the ending was unrealistic and too overdone.

OMG I know! That was awful! Who sucks face in the supermarket?!

"New In Town" with Renee Zellewenger (spelling) and Harry Connick Jr was just as bad. If she's a top level CEO, is she really going to start making out with the Union Rep right in front of the entire factory? WTH?!

My god that was full of win....but yeah, so funny that you can pick "Wanna sandwich?" as an option...

Don't give us any ideas to say that though if we are pulling?

That AS high clip really made me mad. Streotyping people with AS and not teaching acceptence. Not funny at all.

I thought it was kind of funny, kind of offensive...the first part was funny, the part with the bully was funny, the little cards to describe emotion? That was a bit much. Part of me says "Hey, you wouldn't make fun of Down's syndrome!" but most of me says "Really all AS caused for me was a rough childhood and a certain set of strengths, weaknesses and personality characteristics, so I can't get offended."

Hmm, I almost kind of wish there were more material making fun of Aspies. Preferably filmed by other Aspies. Humor is often enjoyable because we can relate to it.

Bridget Jones's Diary.

Would she really run through the streets in her naughty knickers?

But there was one of the most killer lines in all of romantic comedy:

Bridget: Wait a minute. Nice boys don't kiss like that.
Mark: Oh, yes, they f*cking do.

I think the reigning champion of painfully awkward love scenes with horrible dialogue is the one and only George Lucas. Episode III was the absolute worst out of anything I had ever seen where the actors were genuinely trying to act. I actually thought http://iharthdarth.livejournal.com did a better job with dialogue.

Sorry I have a soft spot for renee so as long as she keeps making films I wont complain. I did worry about the weightloss on new in town but she seemed to have gone back on my own love song.

As for the bridget jones knickers scene it was probably taken from the book(never read it and Ive no intention on doing so anytime soon) and the author probably thought they´ll leave it out for the movie.

I cant think of a new adittion to the list right now, I´ll edit this comment as soon as I find one.

Speaking of Renee, Me, Myself and Irene when whichever one being the over confident one gets a boner when she's looking at his pants....how immature but so funny. XD

I read both Bridget Jones books. The knickers scene is in the book. The movie is a splice of both books with some stuff changed up a bit. I was surprised to see a second movie allegedly based on the second book because they'd taken so much for the first movie. By reading the books, you learn quickly why Colin Firth was cast in the movies. But we're talking about hilarious movies, not silly books, so I neglected to mention the book.

I just remembered that American Pie is a good "Love Story", and there's a hilarious sex scene in Scary Movie...

On that note vampires suck also had its hilarious romance scene.

Moving on: Just like heaven had that scene at the hospital where they realize there´s a connection with her body, it´s meant to be cute or something but I still find it too weird to enjoy watching it( even though reese made an amazing performance),

You´ve got mail the first time she goes into her store and she starts smelling scotch tape(who does that?). The interview where the `host starts flirting with her partner and she says nothing to him about it was a bit odd as well,
