Its never been a matter to me but I get really upset how many people brag about how many of them they got laid or had sex.

It's all about status... i.e. more women you lay = better socializer you are.

Women go for the alpha males of the group = socially dominant, financially dominant, intelligent, goodlooking, etc.

I've been told 3 things make you a loser.

So I'm a loser right now! :) I've had a job and a car and enough money to buy
a cheap house(though I live with my mom). Not a virgin but that does not make
one a loser. Being a loser may make you a virgin.

I live by myself for that reason. Now I feel lonelier then ever. I bought myself a car; I got a fine for going down a wrong road. I feel like everyone is capitalizing on my loneliness.

Come to think of it, the real alpha male "winners" aren't going to give anyone crap over being an adult virgin. They're way too busy chasing down the 3 billion females (or males for that matter) and they might actually drop you a few hints on the way. The kind of person who would make fun of adult virgins is the one who feels he has something to prove to himself or to others, and who might be quite unsure about his/her own prowess.

TheMachine: I score one out of three (no car or drivers' license). Would that make me a loser? I suppose I could buy a car, but I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it.

Well back to your evolutionary example not having a car would be like having two
broke legs on the grasslands in Africa. Its funny I was 34 when I first learned to
drive(I still never had a license) it was because I meet a female(who I never asked out).

I cannot understand why anyone would do this voluntarily. Sure, sometimes it's a pain to have those urges nagging at you, but it also feels great when you use your own willpower to overcome them. You're just taking the easy way out.

Of course, I'm not sure castration would help me. I was a horny little kid even before puberty. The only way my libido will die is if it takes me with it.

I think AS inhibits, restricts and restrains. It isn't natural and contrary to this base instinct. Quite saddening. The grass is always greener though I suppose...

waterdogs..and others...loiner mutant is being incrediblt aspie honest....and his choiuce to correct his behaviour is a real one for him to make. i wish him luck with this treatment. it can make the rest of use feel that no matter how ill we can be at times with our aspergers, that there still are soem things we can control that he cant.
and we should be greatfull for this and thank him for pointing out to all of us how lucky we are and without his aspie honesty we couldnt know this.
