OP, I'd suggest to change your photo.

You're not really thin, you don't look typically physically fit, so that photo of yours holding a joystick wouldn't really reflect the physical activity that you're claiming to have.

And oh, I'd suggest you to consult nick007, he's the master guy at that.

Do you know most women? or most men for that matter? I'm sure there are lots of men who like some chick lit books as well as women who are into video games. If you don't have much in common with a person then you probably shouldn't be dating them in the first place. Best advice is too look somewhere where people with similar interests to you usually hang out.

OP is complaining about a lack of response, chronos was giving him some tips about how to make his post more appealing to some women and you asked why was she saying that so I tried to explain her reasoning.

You should allways try to be yourself at all times I agree with that, but there are certain ways of presenting yourself that are more appealing to the opposite sex than others and chronos was trying to make his post more appealing.

I find it strange that you seem to know what the entire opposite sex finds appealing.

For example for some reasons unrelated to this post I try to have considerable facial hair at all times, I let any person that asks about it know that Im not going to change that for anyone but since I´m aware that facial hair is not something people my age like(I get asked why I like having and when Im considering cutting several times a month/at times week) I try to highlight other features of myself instead of focusing on something that for most people is a turn off.

Again who are these most people? what if the girl actually likes facial hair? Would you focus on it then?

You may like videogames that´s cool and something thats quite common among males but there are plenty of guys out there that like videogames and have partners that don´t because they´ve found other common grounds with their partners.

Perhaps I read it wrong (I do this sometimes) I'm not saying that you should only talk about these things, if the girl obviously isn't interested then I agree they should find other common grounds. I'm just saying that if you look hard enough you will find lots of girls who are also interested in these things and they should be more than happy to talk about them.

See, thats the problem. My ex, Ashlei, is the one with the camera. I don't have a camera, nor the money to afford one. So I can't really have someone take a picture of me doing any physical activities.

Also...I'm hoping my personality will shine through a bit more in college this semester since H-E-B has really forced me out of my shell for "customer engagement" purposes, and that I'll be able to use that to my advantage in school. That, and the fact that now, Haley is kinda weirding me out, cuz one day she'll be pretty much all over me, hugging on my arm and s**t like that, acting all "I MISSED YOU!! ! D=" and stuff(and no, I'm not giving her money or buying her anything or whatever....in fact, shes gotten worried about me not eating lunch with the rest of the group at times and bought and shoved a burrito or something down my throat at Rosa's =S) and then the next she'll be pretty much completely ignoring me and acting like she could care less if I were to drop dead on the spot(literally, sometimes she looks at me like she hates me D=, plus this other chick from work I kinda like named Jessica(a bit chubby, not much though, and shes a redhead, and I LOVE redheads) will be at school with me, so I'll actually KNOW some of the people there this time before getting to know them in classes =D

As for Haley acting weird, like today, for example, she was pretty much ignoring me all day until the end of the day on the ride home in the van. I was a row behind her, sitting by the left hand side window, and this chick Kaitlin, who, I gotta say, has some HUGE boobs(and a kid =S....nothing against girls with kids, just so everyone knows) was talking with me and 4 other guys sitting around us. This one guy, Travis, was basically just being goofy and all acting fake gay and s**t, like reaching back behind him and petting this guy Hernan's head, and there was a bar or something sticking up out of the seat he was in(other side of Kaitlin, by the right hand side window) which would basically poke him in the butt everytime we hit a bump in the road, and he was all lioke fake smiling about it and going "Ooooh!! !!". Well, Travis was also teasing Kaitlin a lot, and she'd lean back into my direction, and everytime I would get a fistful of her damn hair. So I moved my hand up, above Kaitlin's head, along the backing of the seat to rest there, kinda like I was half hugging her, but not meaning to. Anyway, this guy Brett, in front of us was like "Awww, look Kaitlin, Alden's comforting you*laughs*"

Well, I obviously wasn't, just trying to not pull her hair, but I played along anyway, going ahead and say "Poor Kaitlin....come here." in a goofy kind of voice. Anyway, Kaitlin just grinned like a friggin idiot, all blushing and stuff, and intentionally leaned back into me and pulled my arm off the back of the seat and onto her torso, basically like I was holding her with one arm. She kept smiling and making me do that the entire hour long drive home.

The ENTIRE drive back once that happened, Haley kept glancing back at me occasionally, giving me this "I am going to KILL you when we get back to the parking lot at the Workforce building"(where we have been meeting our bosses to get on the vans to go to other town's stores to train)

Anyway, once we got back to the Workforce, Haley didn't do or say anything, just gave me one final dirty look and walked off. I don't know why though, its pretty clear if you even glanced back at us that Kaitlin pretty much had a death grip on my arm, keeping it in place.

Also, not sure if you're a male or female(doesn't matter I guess) but putting aside my weight and considering if I were to hit 185 and start working out A LOT more like I plan to(I'm 215 right now) and the fact I'm playing a game in the pic, what would you rate my physical attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 obviously being best???

I'd like to hear from everyone, especially the ladies, as I've always had low self esteem when it comes to my looks, and would normally rate myself around a 4.5-5, depending on how my day has been. Also, how could I improve that number.

Thanks in advance people!! !

Wait, i always thought wreckless drivers are a good thing 'cause they never get into "wrecks" and kill people :? .
Yup, definitely the reckless drivers you have to worry about :P
