For me personally there is no such thing as too aspie.

I am really REALLY Aspie. And I am attracted to people that are very aspie. I can only think of one person who i have ever dated that wasn't Aspie like and that is my ex-husband.

You seem a lot more normal then I am. There are different people attracted to different things.

I could probably find better (worse), but I think I look particularly Aspie in this one:

Nice shirt, but I can't spot an 'aspie look'. I understand it has something to do with the eyes, but I can't read eyes.

I don't know if it'd make you feel better or worse, but I have no idea why you say you look particularly Aspie in that one.

Yoga is a good suggestion. Sometimes there are aspie-specific yoga classes, if those are available then there'd be less judgement there I think

I think it's more his body posture. The way his shoulders are slumped and the arms are hung. Almost like he's not in complete control of them. Sorry Grisha, just trying to point out what I think. You have the 'flat effect' too but a lot of NT's have that especially when they're not in a good mood.

I didn't know that was particularly aspie. I am sitting like that this very second.

I don't think it is an aspie thing if you do it alone without anyone watching you. But normally when people I've encountered have their photo taken, they change their body posture for the photo.

I think you kind of see what I mean, I just look noticeably "different" than other people - and I can also recognize others who are like this occasionally.

The worst part is people always think I'm in a "bad mood" even when I'm not - even other Aspies who should know better think this.

Have you guys tried any kind of mindful movement based exercise, a martial art or something? Tai Chi really helped me use my body more effectively and fluidly. Aikido seems to be helping some too. Yoga?[/quote]

Try MMA (mixed martial arts), from what I've heard that'll make you a ladies man in no time!!

Back to the topic at hand, I'd say too Aspie would be if you pause your sports video games the same time they go to commercial IRL!! I even do the period intermission breaks with a timer!!

Yeah. I can imagine how that would be annoying.

Blahh, either way I don't see it, maybe its an Aspie thing...

The picture, you look more relaxed but the concentrated look is there. I always look tired or like (Data from Star Trek) when see I myself in photos or other times its like the top part of the face is not communicating with the bottom or vice versa.

As for invoking laughter do you walk with your shoulders back or are you hunched over? Someone made fun of my walk in high school by imitating it. I had no idea because I only did that when I was walking fast. It was concrete though maybe even cruel at the time but I don't walk that way anymore.

You didn't color you hair again by chance?

You probably don't do these but I'll mention them, talking too loud, walking on toes, staring into space (I know this one is hard not to do) overly neurotic behavior.

I get comments sometime but only from idiots. I actually embrace my awkwardness. I don't mind people watching me sing in the car, or do anything with deliberate movement (so my brother says) its me and at least, I'm not boring.

I dunno, Grisha. I guess I'm just bad at "reading" these things, but you don't look that "different" to me...

Actually I can't remember the last time I appeared to invoke laughter, I think I said it more for dramatic effect...

That picture's about one year old, I think my hair has gone through at least two iterations since then.

I sort of embrace my awkwardness too - it doesn't really bother me very much at all - I like me - I was just wondering if it's killing me romantically speaking...
