Im aware that you were joking thats why my posts ends with she beat me to it and a smiley. Sorry if the parenthesis thingy was a bit too much.

Most of my posts nowadays are rules of conduct reminders but I guess we could put them there since almost nobody reads the TOS reminder anyways.

naw i just worried i came across as serious - i figured everyone sorta secretly wishes such a thread was filled with their own posts lol

THAT would be hilarious - to start a thread of all the warnings and reminders. like a photo album of train wrecks!! !

Rather than making one thread with a variety of different posts, I suggest creating several posts according to subject matter, e.g., the challenges of mixed relationships; flirting; interpreting interaction with the opposite sex; recognizing abuse; understanding the difference between autism and character issues, etc. I think it would make the forum content more usable for everyone, but particularly for new users who typically come to this forum looking for help with very specific issues. I don't think the number of stickies in this forum is an issue....people who are interested in the stickied subject matter will read them; those who aren't interested know how to scroll.

Ideally this one thread would be divided into different sections of help(by making a post for each section and putting a link to each section at the first post) and anyone asking for help on one subject could be directed to whatever section of this thread they need help on.

But in order for that to happen we have to find reliable information on each section(I was thinking linking to some good online resources at least at the beginning)and I wont be able to do any research on each aspect until friday, if anyone feels like starting this thread by themselves feel free to do so and a mod will sticky it as soon as we see it.

Als the thread title was a joke by grisha, more likely titles are something along the lines of helpfull advice

I created the following thread:

If I misunderstood your idea for the format, feel free to modify/delete, etc.

Stickied and closed as agreed previously.

I dont have any issues with the format right now, we´ll see what grisha says since it was his idea.

No, because helpful is subjective.

Some might find Chronos' threads helpful.

Others may find Lilypad's game threads useful!!

So who's gonna be the judge whether this thread or that thread is useful or not?

As it has been stated it´s going to be done by public request.

As for finding Lilypad´s game helpfull if several members state this it´ll have its own section(same way the alpha guide to meeting females is a sticky even though not everyone agrees with its content).

Posting it on a thread seems like the way to go since its public and theres no questioning wether some pms are being unattended etc.

Having said that theres no need to mention my name since any other mod can do it so a simple I think this should be stickied will do.

Have to agree with boo on this one. Also it will cause fights when some people lash out about a certain thread being stickied if they don't agree.

I think that alpha male guide should be un stickied personally. Actually.. so should that "do you miss someone right now" thread.

But It's not my job to run this forum.

I think the stickies in L&D could use an overhaul. I bought it up a few months ago, guess other things took my attention.

Just added a previous stickies section(with links) at the first post on Love and dating advice by and for wp members and unstickied previous stickies also changed the title to"Esential L&D Advice (By and For WP Members)&stickies"(I know theres a typo but there is a character limit and it was the best I could come up with that added the sticky thing)

If anyone thinks that it could be improved Im open to suggestions and to any other mod feel free to modify it.

I re-stickied eligible oddbods, I think that's a staple that should stick around. I may restick one or two of the others, I think sweeping everything into one thread is probably a bit drastic.

Sticking the alpha male guide and that in there is fine as far as I am concerned.

I also edited the title to make it as clear as possible.

Those posts by hopegrows in that thread don't really make any sense without links, were they supposed to be links to threads, or posts?
