These are unknowns for everyone. Just throw the dice and see.

Sometimes they'll stun you with their betrayals. Sometimes you'll be pleasantly surprised.

But, I want to make sure my dice is well loaded first. :P

I'm the same as OSB here.

No man has ever earned my trust either. Except my Grandad. Many have broken it. A lot more than women have.

But not all men are monsters and I'd be wrong to treat them as such. If I have a problem with all men, I should look in the mirror to find the real issue.

I am also currently seeking therapy to talk about my male trust issue - as I see I have quite a bad problem with it and I am trying to change myself instead of whining or blaming them.

Same here (females though).

I used to have a blind spot for certain misbehaviors because I automatically assumed that no one could go that low, now it seems like there is no limit to how low some women will go to get what they want...

I haven't generalized this to the entire gender though, but my trust must be earned now - no "freebies" just because you seem to be "nice".

I had my trust broken by a woman. Very very badly. It obliterated my already shaky self-esteem and ruined even the thought of being with a woman for years. Even now, I still have issues with trusting them. But my life did not get better until I became willing to take risks again. Now, because I was willing to go against my natural instincts and let myself get close to women again (and, after a few years of searching, I found one that deserved my trust), I am happier than I've ever been in my life.
