Could you give an example of what you mean by "Beign pre-occupied with what people look like" and who "take care of themselves" (read: "fatties need not apply")? Sort of confused on the both of those.

Like, men who are disgusted at the notion of a woman not shaving or wearing makeup or being unable to weigh X amount of pounds,
and those who conflate (low) weight with (good) health.

I do, and a lot of other men do too - pictures of wives, children, pets, cars, or any combination thereof. Some guys carry pictures of their current girlfriends, too...

Nowadays people keep photos on their cell phones or smartphones.

They wear a tie and say things like, "I just wanted to touchbase that it's all hands on deck, moving forward." Other red flags are their talking about being active in their church; a strong preference for pop music and chain restaurants (homogeneous, hyper-conventional taste/style); a need to watch and talk about the proverbial "Big Game;" their engaging in lengthy conversations about their smartphones and clothes; their spouting of the latest talking points from Rush Limbaugh or Fox News; and their dislike of anything too abstract, intellectual, creative, or socially critical. Those red flags indicate a corporate f**ktard.

Well, some of us still remember the good Old Days when if a person wanted to talk to another person, he went up and knocked on the door of the other person and asked to come in.

I would assume he's a China supporter.

More Red Flags for Dating

Avoid the man if he displays any of these behaviors:

21. He refuses to show you his driver's license.

22. He has no driver's license, or any other form of picture identification to show you.

23. He becomes nervous or evasive (or both) when he spots a police officer.

24. His pupils are unusually dilated or constricted.

25. He stops at the curb outside your home to pick you up, and lays on the horn until you come out.

26. He reeks of alcohol or marijuana (or both), especially if he is driving.

27. He doesn't take you any place near where he says he lives.

28. He suddenly wants to avoid being seen (recognized?) in a public place.

29. He wears long-sleeved shirts on a hot day (Tattoos? Needle marks? Fingernail scratches?).

30. He says: "Fnord sent me".

Are you gay? You have a lot of red flags for men.

No, I'm not gay. I'm an older brother to three attractive sisters. They often confided their horror stories of what happened to other girls on dates, and there was no shortage of stories involving "Bad Boys" ... two of which were my brothers.

I'm also a military veteran. After a while, patterns seemed to emerge. It did not matter how many times I warned the women under my authority about the guys they picked up, they always seemed to come back from dates crying and saying that they should have known better.

I'm also a man, with some experience in the dating field as well ... many women I dated would eventually tell me their horror stories ... some would try to take their revenge out on me.

Would you like to see my list of Red Flags on Women? It's quite extensive, as well. Although with a little diligent searching on your part, you may be able to piece together most of the list from my previous posts.

I just search my part extensively. I was very diligent but could not find a red flag. Maybe it made its way up my ass?

I'm interested in the red flag women thread idea. But instead of being too horrible... as the boys here do outnumbered the women on WP....be a bit more gentle Fnord.....

15. Guys who start threads about vaginal odours. Could be a sign of misogyny....or just a guy who likes a good stir

16 Guys who like to stir

17 Formidable ex military guys, difficult to argue with and always right

18 Guys that think they're funny and are always making bad jokes

19 Guys that know they should STFU but continue to ramble

Oh, that's right! I could get in serious trouble with the mods for posting such a list. Thanks for reminding me. God forbid that I should ever earn a ban for being sexist by starting a thread entitled "Red Flags on Women". Obviously, it's okay to have such a thread against men, but one against women? Perish the thought!

I withdraw the offer.

I don't see anything wrong with it. If you have noticed (You obviously haven't) That those threads talk about "all women being gold diggers" and "all women being shallow".

No-one can argue the fact if you post "women who are gold diggers" because, despite anyone who argues, they do exist.

The threads you mention usually start out as perfectly acceptable and deteriorate into this, that's why they are closed.

As far as I know no mod intervention, *gladly* but your thread could be considered unPC by some, unless you don't mind such rants and accusations by members, go ahead, it would be quite interesting.

No, I actually received a warning with regard to some allegedly misogynistic posts from a mod. I'll not risk a ban by going headlong against that mod's wishes.

Not just misogyny...you inferred I might not have a penis....

I'm overly dominant at times too.....

19 Guys who put your womanhood (or manhood) on the line with sweeping troll like accusations designed to put you on the back foot. Military excellence does not always translate to relationship harmony...

20 Guys who see themselves in another mans actions, and berate the other man, as if they were self chastising themselves... :P
