Come to NY, the people here are very liberal and secular. Religion doesn't matter, and you can have any woman you want*

Wear some discreet platform shoes, wax your eyebrows, and make a boatload of cash. It'll be close enough.

Explain? :)

I didn't mean in a gay way, by the way. I genuinely meant that you seem a nice enough fella.

If you want to take it another way, that's your beeswax.

You heard him... he's short, poor, and lives in a place where people have been fighting for 2000 years over a strip of mostly arid desert. Wouldn't you drink?

Are we referring to Israel here? I am so going there.

Yeah, and I'd eat bacon sandwiches too, and not wear Muslim garb, but then I'm not Muslim. I didn't (and don't) know whether The_Face_of_Boo is not Muslim, otherwise I'd have suggested a pint straight off the bat.

Well I am short, poor and middle-eastern looking*. Perhaps we should start a club...

*so I have been told anyway. I once dressed up as an iraqi woman for a mock UN assembly- all black with long skirt and black headscarf, and people said I really did look like an iraqi woman...

I am not Muslim, I was and raised by and in a Muslim Shi'aa family, you can call me a culturally-Muslim atheist. You can say I am the black sheep of the whole family religiously(always been). Father's side of family very anti-Hezbollah/Ba'ath, mother's side are pro....pro.. well, you know. Mom herself is black sheep politically to her family though.

I drink occasionally, but not much used to frequent alcohol.

Well yea, it's not easy to be that different sometimes.

Few the people know I am actually an atheist (parents, siblings, some buddies) yet I never bring it up to the rest of family, and I try to watch out what I shouldn't say around them.

Especially in a part of the world where individualism doesn't seem to be particularly highly valued.

Mind you, at least it's sunni there. The weather here's shi'ite at the moment.
