Okay, I'm not sure whether you were using real people for the voices, but the tone of her voice when she said, "I have to go now" indicated that the conversation was over and that nothing further could persuade her otherwise. Asking her for her number at that point is a mistake.

You're already approaching which shows you stand out from the crowd and you've got the confidence to approach a girl. I think the biggest problem right now is that you're analyzing it far too much, you're worrying about your approach and because of it, you're not able to express certain traits of your personality.

Don't approach girls and talk to them like you're interviewing them, women don't want to talk to someone who reminds them of knitting or maths class. They want to talk to someone who is an exciting and interesting character, if you can connect to a certain side of them, you are more likely stand out to them.

Like the idea of hanging out at a sports track dressed up in a suit. Look like you're some big shot sports agent or something. You gotta work on body language though, you musta been high as hell cause your eyes are like super dilated and it looks like you blinked only once the entire time. Also, try a little more hand and arm movements.
And also, stay away from chicks wearing sunglasses indoors, huge sign of a vain chick with too much baggage involved in how they perceive themselves.

I'd honestly be suspicious of someone's motivations for talking to me if he referenced my looks within the first few HOURS of a long conversation, let alone in under a minute when we know next to nothing about one another.
