To answer your question, I am 41 years-old, look younger than my age and I still can't stop acting like a gawky teenager and dressing like one too. To be honest though, the situation does hurt me in landing a job or getting my peers to take me seriously. There does exist harsh consequences for a person not jumping through the "right" hoops.
