I just thought the use of the word try was pretty strange. Like some how women were a type of food.

Today I am going to try African women next week maybe Mexican ones.

Waiter, I'll try the African woman with a side of buffalo chicken wings and fries; coleslaw for salad. Molson Canadien to drink. Thank you

National traits are noticeable patterns. 'Try' makes sense.

Yeah, that idiocy aside, it would still be disgusting to suggest that you could cherry pick and sample women of a certain nationality.
But putting aside my disgust, I'd like to suggest that the OP may need some very gentle, specific, and well-meaning advice from his peers. I just wanna shake the living s**t out of him. I'm sure some of you boys can be more helpful

He said 'women'. He'll want to try AT LEAST a dusky North African, a West African, and as he likes the OP girl a Kenyan. Learn by doing.

I'm also slightly agitated by some of the stereotypical remarks and generalizations based on race or labels. Some guys also seem to blame their lack of success on their location, culture or external circumstances rather than accepting the problem is with them. Some people even support and encourage them, It's like saying "Oh if you move to Africa, you'll be like Russell Brand with dozens of hot women chasing after you, there's nothing wrong with you, the fault is with every American woman".

This basically. Just because you haven't had much success with african american women so far does not mean that's it, game over, that you will not meet a single african american woman who would want to date you. I'm assuming you haven't asked out every single african american woman in the US? Every single one in your state? In your city? In your neighbourhood?

As another member suggested why don't you sign up to one of those black women wanting to date white guys sites? I'm sure there must be thousands of black american women to strike up a conversation with on there. Plus you won't have the problems of possibly a language barrier, as vast a distance between you, the problems that may arise with visa's etc etc.

Good luck :D

While I support inter-cultural and inter-racial relationships with all my heart, I must say threads like this remind me of all the problems that can arise when people aren't seeking a compatible individual but a stereotype. News flash: not all African women are the same! Not all African-American women are the same!

Personally, I think getting to know a woman from your own culture (US) will be much easier than meeting a foreigner. Also, westerners often have this idea of non-western women (be it Africans, Asians, South Americans or even Eastern-Europeans) as being easier to deal with (because they are non-materialistic, submissive, etc). Now, news flash: just because a woman is from a culture that your culture sees as more patriarchal, it doesn't mean she's "easy to deal with". I live in Eastern Europe and I know many extremely materialistic women, not to mention women who expect you to look like a movie star AND to give her absolute freedom. Or the women who cheat, or women who are prejudiced against Americans.

There are also great girls, decent, intelligent, great girls. But just like in your own culture, it all depends on a girl, and not her race or country.

If it's your heart's desire Brandon, go for it and see how it goes. The main advice I'd give is to be mindful of how the economic disparities between your country and the woman's country might affect your relationship.

Just two things though:

a) Be careful which country you choose and be careful/use protection - you wouldn't want to end up being murdered in some hardline Christian/tribal/Islamist/Mugabe-style hellhole.
b) Get a friend to take photos using an SLR camera with fast lens and post them online (the world needs much more genuine African amateur porn).

That is all. :)

I'll back you up here: I know quite a lot of Polish women in the UK that are like this.

Which, on the other hand, doesn't mean EE are materialistic... Surprise! - it all depends on a person.

Since I just happened to be looking at it and it's relevant, I thought I'd post it.

Africa is not a country
