What about defining your own version of whats attractive instead of what you're told?
How about not accepting something "average" but not giving a s**t what others may think?
Yes every girl I've found gorgeous was VERY difficult at first, but in the end it ended with a partner that to me is absolutely beautiful, she's polish, and has that european flair about her.
She also has dark short hair, high cheek bones, very curvy figure, all these things aren't the standard female I'm told I want, but I realised, why should I pretend to desire what I consider normal when its never interested me anyway!?
Of course looks matter, but have a look I think you'll find you have your own taste, you don't need to be told.
