I never had a girlfriend, but I always felt strangely attracted to taller girls (not that difficult to find, since I am only 1,7 m/5' 7'' tall). Which makes it even weirder that the only girl I fell in love with is even shorter than me.

I could date someone who was slightly taller than me. It's not really uncommon to find Norwegian girls who are.

also spongy. she may have been hurt like i was. when i was a child i did calesthenics and gymnastics until at the age of 7, i was kicked out for being too tall. it was the first time i realised i was a freak and abmormal. My daughter will not do these types of activities because i refuse to have other people tell her that her body is wrong while all the other girls are ok at such a young age.

I say this because it appears I only ever get to date midget women. My last relationship of any note was with a girl who was and still is 4' 11"

Yes
I think height is hot on a woman, I may be a little biased
also it's nice to b with someone who understands the annoyance of being called an amazon or giant all the time

The two women I've dated are smaller than me, barely. I'm 5'6" though so that's not a feat.

I don't know their weight though

The very few girlfriends that I've had have all been around my height, 5' 7". Height really doesn't matter very much to me other than the fact that I love Amazons!   Kind of funny though, a woman who I have a crush on is 5' 0".

I've never dated, but I wouldn't really mind if someone was a bit taller than me.

Im aware of why she reacted like that.
However it happens to be the first question that comes to mind whenever someone says that they like watching x sport.
And I didnt think of how she could possibly react.

I havent had a chance to talk to that many tall girls(not that I have anything against them, most girls that I talk to approach me and coincidentally they arent usually tall) so Im not sure how to talk to them without making silly mistakes like the one I explained.

Maybe some day I´ll meet one who doesnt mind this sort of thing and become more comfortable talking to them/learn what isnt acceptable, but until then I think it´d be best to avoid trying to have a relationship with a tall woman

there are some tall women who are quite cool. I love my height and make jokes about it all the time.....one of my fav's is fee fi fo fum. lol. I was just trying to explain why it could have made her upset over it. I also pay my boyfriend out and call him shorty a lot even though he is 6'4" just because I can. LOL. At the end of the day, I have found that a lot of taller women wont date shorter men, not because they are short but because of short man syndrome. This is where a man feels their masculinity is somehow effected by the fact their partner is taller and starts acting really macho to try to over compensate.

I was married to a taller woman, and had a close relationship with a taller woman after that.

Didn't notice any difference between them and the shorter women. One of them said once that the height thing felt a bit wrong. Tactless thing to say, as there was no help for it.....it was just depressing to think it mattered to her. But she would have been a jerk whatever her height. She once told me that it would be the end of our relationship if I ever hit her.......I just walked away saying "don't worry I've got more self-respect," but thinking about it now, I should have just reminded her that she was much bigger than me, and then robustly inquired why she had seen fit to trump up such a demonised view of me.

I hate this "strong man, weak woman" thing anyway, and I wish people would leave it out. How the heck can we have anything like genter equality if people cling to such stuff?

For most of my relationships, I outweighed my beau by at least a few pounds.

But at 5'1", I've not had the experience of dating someone shorter. Have been with several close to my height, though.

I am starting to date a guy who is a couple inches shorter than me. It feels a bit awkward. Hugging and stuff.

Your mother is quite safe. It would probably be more appropriate, however. This woman is young enough to be my daughter.

I literally cringed when I saw that.
