Yes. But I think it is perfectly normal to have standards/preferences/whatever it is named. My standards are simple enough: any woman with whom I have an affinity, feel attracted to and who does not care about my peculiarities is good enough for me. What makes it impossible for now is my complete lack of a social life; I am not able to meet like-minded women if I do not get out of my house, but I have no reason to get out of my house except for working, because I have no friends. It is a vicious circle.

This is ANOTHER thing that doesn't apply to my life. I like girls of all shapes and sizes, and ethnicities as well, but get shunned by them.

Hmmm... I understand somewhat but it's not really morally correct.
I don't think it's right to just be in a relationship with someone you don't truly love at all. It's not fair on the other person who does have those feelings and it's taking advantage.
People can have standards but they may not stick to that, it changes.

Could be. But then there's all sorts of needy guys running around who have GFs so that really can't be the problem either.

I think picky is a poor choice of words. I would never go out with a woman I was not attracted to. What is the point? I believe it is evil to go out with a woman you are not attracted to just for sex. I am fine being without a girlfriend until the right one comes along even if it takes years.
