I created an OKC profile a while back and decided to be completely honest about everything they asked. I wanted to have women judge me on my personality rather than some illusion I created and the results were less than stellar. I sent scores of customized messages with not a single reply. Not even a message from the people I was matched with. At that time, I decided online dating isn't for me because I am not willing to lie about who I am.

How do I find out my OKCupid personality? Do I have to sign up? I filled out a big test but the results were a sign up page. I don't really want to join OKCupid, but I am interested in knowing what comes of this user generated test that many people seem to be very interested in.

You have to join, and you have to answer lots of questions. The more you answer the "better" an idea Okc has of your personality. The site is worth joining just because of how nerdy it is. Though, it is getting pretty popular so the quality of the members is dropping. People don't seem to get the humourous side of it anymore.

Haha I know! I'm just a bit bummed that it is a requirement to sign up in order to take the test and get results. Boo

Yeah, but you get the extra fun stuff like where it uses your answers and other people's answers to give you a % compatibility match. And you get to read their answers to the questions, that's probably my favourite part of the site. I actually want to start a thread here where we post some of the more interesting Okc questions and everyone gives their answer, but I don't know that it would be a hit :P

I think that's a great idea actually. It could be fun and maybe some people would even form bonds because of that thread.

If OKCupid had a summary or definition of my personality it would probably be something like this:

i'll tempered mutant sea bass lurking in the sea

I haven't completed all the questions but all I can find is that I'm more old-fashioned and less political.

dating sites are just a way to escape from the real world to meet people. and the bad thing is you find more that don't add up. it's crazy and pathetic. both women and men sometimes get really dumb with stuff.

Jeeze, does it take a lot of answering questions to get a large rating? I have filled out over 120 questions and only have two ratings.

Haha, I've answered 1700 questions. You've been on there a day, it takes time :) Though I don't see many with as ridiculously high a number as me.

I haven't answered enough questions to have a long list, but:

more sex-driven
more adventurous
more kinky
more drug-friendly
more scientific
more cool
more experienced in sex
more literary
more spontaneous
less spiritual
less ambitious
less pure
less experienced in love
less old-fashioned
