Very similar with ADD or my experience of it. But I also desire and need my space as well. I can't speak for others, but it has served me well learning to express these matters. Whether I need to space or need to be told I'm smothering, the hurdle of verbalizing these issues has been difficult at times but worth it. Led to better understanding versus another lost relationship.

and obsession is worse in men than it is in women
