7 years is pretty much the norm for an age difference. My parents are 6 years apart (my dad will be 55 next month, my mom is 48). In both of my past relationships, the partners were within 2 years of me. I am currently tending to attract women 6 or 7 years older than me.

thanks for all the responses! i made this thread cause i remembered reading somewhere that autistic people don't really associate with otheres their own age growing up and are often more comfortable with others of different ages... so I wondered how it applied to dating.

I've always wondered what it would be like to date someone older than me.
But it seems i only attract women atleast several years younger than me.
Mostly like 16 year olds falling in love with me lol.
Yet i find it near impossible to attract women over 18 because they say i look like i'm 17-18.
My current girfriend being 20 i'm happy about :P
But than again she also looks younger than 20.

I'm attracted to girls from age 16 to 27. I find some girls older than me to be more attractive. I highly doubt I would go for someone older than me, however. It will probably be someone at least a year younger.

Generally, though, I am more comfortable around older people, mainly because of maturity. People who are finished university or college tend to be more mature than my own peers. "Tend" is the key word, of course.

Ive never been with a girl older than me, and I honestly think I never will be..... I think younger girls take longer to catch onto the fact that I am not quite normal...... I am the master of 6 day relationships.

That's me just seeing what happens. I don't actively seek out people much older than me--they find me.

And to make things more interesting, about half of these people interested in me are of other racial groups. Both of my two actual relationships were interracial (my first girlfriend was Mexican and my second girlfriend was Korean).

I am only interested in girls who are younger than me (by a year or two). Even the thought of being in a relationship with anyone older than myself makes me feel depressed.

I take it % means divsion and not modulus as it does in programmng?

36 / 2 =18
18 + 7 = 25

Works for me. Now thats works for men. What about women ?What formula do they use for maxium age of a man? I see so many dating sites default the max age as 35 on forms so for that reason or choice vey few young women want a 36 year old like me. I look young so if I every get in dating game I'm going to lie! :D I could pass for 26 easy.

I've always been attracted to people at least a little bit older than me. Likely because immaturity is not a turn-on

For some reason I kinda prefer my age or younger, when I say younger I mean down to about 21 or 22 (of course if she's really that slick and that much of an adult at 19 I can't say I'd deny her). I suppose I could date older as well just not much past 2 years ahead, for some reason that just bugs me out and I think its because women's stations in life seem to be out ahead of a guys a lot of times and usually a couple years later from that end puts them in a place where we'd feel completely out of place being with each other.

I don't have a preference as far as age goes, except that any mate must be at least 18 years old. The oldest woman to show an interest in me was a 43-year-old woman who happened to have AS. I was 24 at the time (I am now 27).
