I do a lot of those things when I like a guy, especially trying to talk to him everyday even if I have nothing to talk about

I think the suggestion to ask her if she is flirting, is fantastic.

I am usually very direct, so that behaviour would confuse me too, if I was at the receiving end. If I liked a guy, I wouldn't necessarily tell him though. So any engagement with you, is a potential source of interest. It's just finding out at which level...romantic...friendship...etc.

Anyway, yeah, maybe you should just ask her if she's flirting, but you have to say it in such a way where it's not coming off as narcissistic. But I still stick by what I said earlier in the thread. It does kinda sound like she's treating you as if you're "special."
