anyone silly enough to assume someone's full appearance from a face shot and cleavage deserves whatever they get. and again... the guys are as deceitful as the women... i've seen enough photos on WrongPlanet or dating sites where guys have used "creative" shots to hide flaws, that they couldn't really criticise what women are doing

I was featured in the local newspaper last Monday, and performed a great show last night. Today a TV reporter interviewed me TWICE (once when she recognized me on the street and set up her tripod on the sidewalk, then later she called and interviewed me again in my living room). We discussed autism, cats, T.S. Eliot and comparative mythology. I also played a little tune I made up on guitar for her movie camera as a preview for Saturday. So far as I know the TV station will be sending a film crew to the gym this Saturday to film me riding and playing for their news broadcast sometime. Wish me luck please. Thanks.

Now back to the subject of this thread. It's about eating catfish, right?

Brilliant! I loved it! :D

Not as frequent as the close up shot trick used by obese girls; they're like 30% of women's profiles.

nawwwww i have lterally seen it many times on this site, with men using hats to hide baldness for example, or other angles to hide asymmetry. don't want to call anyone out for exactly what i've seen, but i've seen it all, trust me! :P

Well, I dunno, I am too handsome overall to hide anything.

Yeah, I readily admit to doing this.

Thanks Marcia and hyperlexian, and thanks to ArrantPariah for setting this up.

I was filmed today in the gym by the same TV reporter who interviewed me three other times in the past two days. I was on the local TV news twice last night (5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.) but did not see it either time. Others did and told me. I will probably be on the news again soon but this time with footage of me riding and playing today in the gym as in last week's Fish Heads video but with different songs including some of my own (including at least one I made up on the spot in honor of the occasion).

Btw, I have an idea for a reality show. It is called The Two-Tired Wheel-ality Show starring The Bicycling Guitarist. There's magic in the back story, for example the Radioactive Beagle I had as a boyhood pet. No really, she really was a radioactive beagle, as in deadly levels of radiation coming from her. As a puppy she was the product of a science experiment and was never supposed to get out of the laboratory. The remains of other puppies from that experiment are still considered radioactive waste, and I cuddled that doggy for fourteen years (she died when I was nearly twenty years old). Think Peter Parker and the radioactive spider, and what it did to him, but Spiderman is a fictional character and I am not.

Now back to the subject of this thread. Cleavage, right?

i wasn't even thinking of you, but thanks for saying that. i have used angles to my advantage too, to some degree. i'll take a bunch of pictures and only post the best one, for example.

Even this big handsome football player fell for one. He doesn't exactly fit the stereotype of one who would feel the need to resort to the internet to find romance.

I personally almost fell for a guy online disguising as a woman. That was a long time ago.

I watched the movie. Boy, what a weird situation. But, that football player is weirder, being genuinely in love with a scammer. And, being quite publicly humiliated.

THanks for getting me onto these shows, they were great! I watched them all over the weekend, and whether theyre set up or not I still enjoy them. And I agree they are better than the movie. I can't quite figure out what's going on in the footballer story..so he know he being scammed but he's in love anyway?

watching catfish brought back a memory, one of which i'm a little ashamed to admit... but wth...so back in 2000 I was 19 and I was on yahoo chat, i got chatting to this guy in my area and we'd talked for a while and everything had gone all good until i showed him my phone...at which point he told me i was f*****g ugly and immediately stopped talking to me.

Well that made me so mad so a day or so later i made a really cheesy name like babygurl4u or something and i went back in. i got talking to him again. of course he was keen to talk to a girl like that! we'll we spoke more and more and more, this went on for months. we got closer and closer, he told me some quite deep secrets he had of himself and all that. i even gave him my phone number....my real phone number... but i changed my voicemail so it didn't say my name, so when he rang i could pretend to be this other girl... so anywhoo.
a couple more weeks or months past (i'm really sketchy on the details) and i finally show him a pic. it was a different pic, it was an internet pic in the true sense of the word, taken at precisly the right angle in precisly the right lighting, fancy clothing, nice makeup the whole she-bang. well he thought i was beautiful. he was like omg u are better than i ever imagined blah blha....he wanted to meet but i kept blowing him off...but i kept talking to him a little long until he finally said he loved me. I think I said ''good' I can't remember my response.

BUt after that I just completely disappeared.

You guys will probably think im a total ahole for doing that but this guy was the as*hole laughing in my face at my pics calling me ugly thinking he's the s**t just cause he's some jock guy, he was a total dick. and that was probably the one and only time i actually plan revenge AND executed it..and yeah I did feel better about it.

I wouldnt do it now though I"m far more mature, I realise it was a dumb thing to do but it seemed like the thing to do at the time, I mean he really did seriously hurt my feelings with those comments. I"d been called ugly and horrible my whole life through school I didn't need it on the internet as welll.. so yeah i guess that's what motivated me to do it. Sorry if I offended anyone,

My jaw is kinda disfigured, so I take shots that hide that particular flaw. It's also why I don't smile in pictures either, or make a fake smile, since because my jaw is screwed up, my teeth are screwed up as well.
