How old were you when you were in your first relationship?

I was six and so was she, it went as far as my asking her to marry me but she said no, that she wasn't going to marry anybody from this school, I thought about her every day until I was about 10 and could no longer picture her face.

I think that was the only time she ever talked to me, that time she turned down my proposal, so I guess it wasn't much of a relationship, but at least it was something, for me anyway.

Now and then I go on Friends re-united to see if she ever joins.

Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

no girlfriend yet, but my first fling with a girl happened at 21, she was 28. lasted about a month. I think I like older girls now because of it.

what qualifies as a relationship? (not being difficult, i just don't know how to answer)

The only time I had a girlfriend was when I was 13 and 14, none of the five relationships were serious, never kissed them or anything and each relationship lasted a few days to a few weeks. One of the relationships failed simply because of my lack of social competency, I barely talked to her, I was too shy. In the second half of 9th grade I got out of the typical school system because of depression(I was diagnosed with OCD and aspergers around this time) and started doing "homebound" schooling (basically I just go out in the afternoon about twice a week to a library to meet up with a teacher and complete assignments). Since then I haven't dated anyone, probably not many atheist vegan girls who like old PC games, history, and science in Virginia.

20 it was mostly an internet thing. I didn't desire or ever really thought about/considered the idea of a relationship before her. We were friends on a forum & had some odd things in common & she actually told me she was interested in me

If relationship is defined as mutually agreed upon and lasting longer than a week, then for myself it was age 39. That's not to say I didn't have situations where I was pursued and then dumped after one date and the occasional drunken one night stand.
The one and only relationship I had was a joke. A very painful joke.
But, I'm not bitter. I got pregnant and have a son with Asperger's who is the light of my life.

I'm at the stage right now where I'm just trying to learn how to befriend the opposite sex. I've been somewhat successful but have not had any romantic opportunities present themselves.

Hooray for dating an Argentinian woman while being immature and socially ignorant, with the girl also being immature and unpredictably crazy o.O. xD

Well, at least that was a great learning experience and a gateway to further wisdom and maturity.



And also temporary insanity o.O. LOL

First sexual encounter with a girl i had...something... with @ 23.
First serious relationship - still pending.

15. We dated for two years and broke up when he graduated from college and moved to Huntsville. We tried to keep up a long distance relationship but it just didn't work out.
