But what about when girls do this?

suggest that she (or he) should go to a therapist and move on. nothing else makes any sense. why, what do YOU think you should do, rape them?

Nope, I'd have done as Louis CK did, though I'd probably say what he said instead of kindly suggesting going to a therapist.

Why do girls do as she did, though?

Though it was a fictional situation intended to play well to an audience, in a situation like that, he is allowed to say no.

Everyone is allowed to say "No, I'm not going to rape this person." which is effectively what he said no to.

As to "why do girls do as she did" please, please don't turn this into another negative conversation about the entire female sex.

Fair enough. Though many topics on here are seemingly devoted to doing the opposite with males. But, it's not my battle to fight.

That's a red herring. You come into the thread, and within a few posts you are instigating, trying to start a conversation about fictional women that want to be pretend raped and do not inform their partners, etc. etc. then your response is to say "well it happens to males too" as if that excuses the conversations about women?

If it's not your battle to fight, why do that? This thread had nothing to do with making negative generalizations... why do that?

I completely agree.

The video the OP posted does consider the male victims as well, I don't see any point in wanting to start "women do/men do" argument.

Exactly like meems said, you come into a thread with a provocative post and attempt defend yourself by saying "a lot people here talk like that about men, too" and then argue that such conversations are not worthwhile?

I think it was completely unnecessary in the first place. The original video is wonderful and spreads an important message and reminder.

See it now?
You two will argue about anything if women are somehow involved.
This is ridiculous.

So did you assume it was going to be a shitstorm because someone would come along and try to turn the conversation toward generalizations of women wanting to be pretend-raped? Are you... psychic? O_o

This thread was just meant to be a positive thing, the girl in the video uses the pronouns he and she, not focusing on females or males specifically, I didn't expect this would cause any controversy. And honestly, if this video seems controversial in anyway to anyone, they probably need to seek therapy because there is probably a serious problem if the idea of saying no to a sexual partner seems like a hot button issue.

I thought the video was reassuring, and an important thing that we all need to be aware of at all times, not at all offensive or whatever.

actually, this thread was intended to be good advice and you made a comment about the youtuber's appearance, then made a snide argumentative remark. this is referred to as gaslighting.

To be honest she could have picked a better example, someone with a lesser amount of pretention, sorry to be blunt.
