I never went to the prom. I didn't have the courage back then to ask girls out, still don't

A girl I knew coerced me into taking her (likely because no one else would go with her.) After dinner and part of the evening, I was so tired of her ordering me around like a servant I simply took off and went home. (I should've at least gone out with my REAL friends instead...)

That was my personal excuse.
For me reality was I wasn't going to enjoy it, I wouldn't know anyone there, and if be spending money I didn't have to impress people I didn't like. Maybe if I had someone that wanted to go with me I could have considered it, but since I was in the alone group I dropped the idea.

My school was cheap and the tickets were expensive and not worth the cheapness of it. In addition, I don't enjoy dancing/parties either. I wouldn't have gone even if free. My ex and current BF wanted to go with me.

I went to my freshman year of homecoming, and someone attempted to fight me as soon as I got there.

My junior year of homecoming, my sister made her friend take me. I left after about an hour.

I did not ask anyone to prom either my junior or senior year because I was not worthy, and did not go to any other school events.

I was the only person who didn't.

I mean, I'm forced to be around these morons all day for most of the week; why on earth would I want to see them more?

Never. I wasn't that type of person then.

I tried to go to my junior prom but couldn't afford it and my parents wouldn't pay for me to go (Instead they payed the medical bill for my broken hand). I hope I am able to go to my senior prom at least.

I didn't go to prom, either. Most of them were stuck-up snobs, anyway.

The high school I went to didn't have a prom. I didn't feel like going at the time, anyway.

This. I could care less about it and told everyone I was sick.

I didn't and I couldn't care less. I never saw what the fuss was all about. Spending $300 dollars for only one night wouldn't be worth it.
