Not even NTs can expect to die married in this polygamic immoral society. So the chances of an AS guy(like me) dying married is close to zero...

I have accepted my fate, though if I should be lucky enough to find love, I will appreciate it with all my heart.

Doesn't bother me in the least.

Once, a young co-worker expressed her shock at the idea that I'm over 40, single, and intent on keeping it that way. She finally blurted out "But that means you'll die alone!". To which I replied "I certainly would hope so!"...

With the way this world works? Doesn't seem like such a strange thing for most people let alone an aspie. I really have to wonder how many people actually do find true love - its like in Mystic River when that kid was telling the one main character (the cop) about how he'd really loved the one guy's daughter and said he probably wouldn't find the same thing twice at which he laughed and replied that most people don't even find it once.
