So all wearers of glasses must have an aversion to carrots. :albino:

Carrots don't improve vision, they improve the muscles.

There are muscles in the eyes too.

True. :cyclopsani:

She plays 'shoot the bear' - she doesn't play ps3 because she loves America.

Nah. He doesn't wake up all the way. He just rolls around and pats me.

I don't think poor eyesight can dictate a persons personality at all. I wear glasses and yes I'm into gaming, but I think that is more coincidence.

Although, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that there is evidence to suggest there is a correlation between poor eyesight and a higher intelligence in general.

There is a theory or myth that playing vid games alot or reading alot is hard on the eyes & thus doing those activities alot can be the reason or contrubuting factor of why the person has glasses. My grandpa says I have bad eyesight because I watch TV too closely & & look at my phone screen too closely. I was born with a low vision dosorder thou & am very nearsighted as a result so I need to do lots of things up close. My eyesight has been the same all my life(eye doc I saw last week said how it hasn't got any worse) so being really close to things isn't making my eyesight worse but some people think the effect is the cause.

I second that. I absolutely love glasses on girls more than I like earrings, necklaces, cleavage, etc. What's strange is I don't need glasses and won't any time soon but every single member of my family (both immediate and extended) wears them.

Both of my sisters wear glasses.

Inside close doors one of them is geeky enough to start singing soft kitty in English and when the other one asks her how the hell does she know it in a foreign language? start singing it in Spanish when I wear my soft kitty shirt(its actually a play on soft kitty/grumpy cat but thats too much for them to understand so its a soft kitty shirt to them).
The other one is obsessed with other similar shows.

When other people are around though they avoid geeky topics, not that they know much about comics outside of whats said on TBBT.
Why?
Because they had the luck on the looks/social skills department and they qualify as" cool" whenever they attempt to fit in so they are usually into guys that arent that geeky.

My middle sister´s ex-boyfriend for example was obsessed with Naruto(or something similar) she jokes about how he hid this information from her for months and when she found out he watched the episodes with headphones as soon as they were fansubbed and he closed the laptop quickly like he was watching porn and tried to hide what he was watching when she caught him for the first time.

So no, even though a girl looks geeky approaching her about geeky stuff isnt always a good idea.

You really had to ask this question?

What is your logic, that looking at a screen dries out contacts?

Maybe the sterotype that glasses are geeky. I don't belive that sterotype thou. I wear glasses for school, when I worked or go to the movies & I'm a D0rK instead of a geek: I', not into anime, I'm not great with comouters despite spending alot of time on mine, played vid games alot as a kid but not so much anymore, s#ck with math & english class due to dyslexia, I'm not into or good with science except some syfy shows. I do think how fasinable the glasses are can sometimes be a sign of geekyness thou. Basisic glasses don't say much except that the person doesn't have 20/20 vision but if the glasses stand out like than Elton John's; I can form an opinion from the fasion.
