I think that's oversimplifying things. In relationships at least, a misogynist or a male with low-self esteem tend to prefer women that are slightly less attractive, smart and funny as they are because they want to be the dominant one and looked up, admired by their significant other. So yes men still like smart, attractive, funny women. They just more often than not don't want them being more smart, more attractive and more cool than they are.

This thread is not going to go anywhere like the nice guy threads.

It needs some whiney nice girls in it to keep it alive.

So without the nice girls it's up to you comrade bill to keep it going.

Can I have a new species? I'd like to be a cat. Being a cat would be good. Then I can look down on all the stupid humans.

Seriously, if you can't get a date, the problem is almost 100% you. Whether the people you go after are wrong, or your approach is wrong.

Male or female.

Why does it have to be a gender war? There are idiots from both genders, and they love pointing the fingers at the other gender - ÏT'S ALL THEIR FAULT!

This^^^

There's absolutely nothing worthwhile about this thread or the stupid theories it postulates. These articles are about as effective at teaching dating as Billiscool is at picking up age-inapropriate gym employees.

Also, being a cat would be awesome.

They're appropriate, just he doesn't have gobs of money or a Ferrari to compensate for bad social skills and general sperginess.

Again.......more sexist generalizations about women.

30 year old creeping on early 20s gym employees who are obligated to be nice to him. It's not pedo but I doubt a fancy car would make it less unsettling. If he really wants a girlfriend he needs to look elsewhere.

so,if a single, smart woman told you, that men only date dumb women, and men are
intimidated of her because she's smart, what would you say to her.

I'd tell her that she's being stupid just like I'm telling you.

Take everything with a pinch of salt. Remember the main point of pop psychology is to make profit, not to lay out the important parts of original research.

:chin: ok I will bite.

Maybe these smart women, think they are smart because what they see as unintelligent is too easy to replicate. But maybe they are too afraid in trying things because then they could possibly be judged by others.

I think this quote most accurately reflects on the issue, or most issues for that matter:

Oscar Wilde wrote:
There is much to be said in favor of modern journalism. By giving us the opinions of the uneducated, it keeps us in touch with the ignorance of the community.

More truths about journalism:

Carl Bernstein wrote:
The lowest form of popular culture -- lack of information, misinformation, misinformation, and a contempt for the truth or the reality of most people's lives -- has overrun real journalism. Today, ordinary Americans are being stuffed with garbage.

Graham Greene wrote:
A petty reason perhaps why novelists more and more try to keep a distance from journalists is that novelists are trying to write the truth and journalists are trying to write fiction.

Janet Malcom wrote:
Every journalist who is not too stupid or too full of himself to notice what is going on knows that what he does is morally indefensible. He is a kind of confidence man, preying on people's vanity, ignorance, or loneliness, gaining their trust and betraying them without remorse.

It depends on what is meant by the word crazy. If it's meat as in dangerous No but I've struggled with a bad depression before as well as some various other mental issues that I'm over now. I feel I can relate to some types others would say are crazy. I think dumbness is cute sometimes. I do NOT go for mean thou.

Why is it that virtually every time I hear people talking about the things they find attractive in potential mates they break personality down to smart, dumb and crazy as if they are the only three traits? I seriously see this everywhere. What about apathy, kindness, patience, selfishness, assertiveness, creativity and all the other ways you can describe a person's personality? Is a smart but apathetic girls still attractive? Is it fair to lump girls who don't hide their emotions into the "crazy" category with the girls who quietly play sick mind games?

Physically my priorities are facial features, stomach, tits, legs and ass in that order.

Mentally I like girls who make their emotional states obvious or if it's not obvious they keep it very close to a nominal value.
