I don't see why how experienced someone is should have anything to do with wether or not they can post. If you mean people have been given stick because they posted something, and someone decides "oh you're obviously not that experienced so you should just shut up" apart from bad attitude imo, how will that person learn?

sure ban virgin users, that would make it a locked forum.

What a smashing idea!

Membership available only to those that can prove their non-virgin status!

Good point, nobody can prove anything. If they were virgins, how do they prove that? Because a lot of people in society simply wouldn't believe it for people who are already in their twenties or older. I wonder if people here would believe them when they say they're not.

I'm geninely wondering why this is needed to move forward, as you put it. I guess I'm not paying enough attention to L&D. I reckon there are a few ways that the forum could definately move forward, but somehow I wouldn't blame anyone for resenting it if it hasn't already.

Btw I put the second option on the poll but only because what I think is missing - ie, nobody should get actual stick for it.

[X] Other: Include profile options for 'Virgin' and 'Non-Virgin', and fix it so that once 'Non-Virgin' is selected, it's locked and can not be undone.

Are you suggesting that users with an internet connection supplied by Virgin Media would be blocked? That would affect over 4 million households in the UK.

I think that at the very least, anybody who regularly eats food which contains virgin olive oil ought to be banned.

I don't think anything that excessive should be done - both because there are those of us who are actually too young to have ever had it in the first place (17 year old here) So that would be quite difficult.

To be honest, I'm just glad people aren't embarrassed to talk about such stuff here. Chances are the NTs wouldn't have anywhere to say anything at all.
