I'm lonely not because I aim out of my league (I'm a gay guy and actually get hit on pretty often) but because I'm too intimidated to reciprocate others' advances. That's why I'm looking for an Aspie guy; I feel like he'd understand my uncertainty and inexperience and that we could learn together.
I've dated both unattractive and attractive girls in the past. Currently, I've put dating on hold until I finish college and get my own place; I'd rather work on getting my life the way I want it--instead of leading someone unattractive on to get an ego boost.

I don't understand this question. If I'm dating someone, it's going to be someone that I find attractive. As for conventional standards, well, usually the people I date or I'm interested in are considered "not bad" or "cute."
