I found my bf on here. He is AS and so am I. He lives far far away and I am moving to be with him because we would like to give it a go. I suggest you focus not on geographical closeness(the right person will work to make the relationship work) but on someone who has a lot in common with you.
My 2nd girlfriend which was the 1st I met on here lived only one state away & we didn't work out for lots of reasons but some of em were because she was changing/fin ding herself & were incompatible in what we wanted & needed within a relationship. My 3rd girlfriend which was the 2nd I met on here live across the country from me & I moved in with her a little over a year ago. We've known each other for about the same amount of time before moving in together that I knew the girl before. Things aren't perfect; every couple has at least minor issues & we each have things we're dealing with but we're pretty good together because we're very supportive of each other.

I think it should be worth nothing that siblings of Autistics are viable as well.

I have never met an Aspie/Autistic girl in my life. They are more rare than diamonds. Though some girls I know that are socially awkward show a few signs.

Apart from support groups, AspieAffection (which you may want to join anyway), and here (and I wouldn't be too forward), I think that covers most of the reasonable places to look. Other than that, I would agree with the general sentiment that you should look for partners both outside as well as inside the spectrum. The wider your network of friends is in general, the more likely it is that you'll meet someone you like who likes you back. Otherwise the numbers aren't really in your favour.
