This is really f*****g with me because I feel like Im not good looking enough or have what it takes to pull this off again. She was hot, and I got lucky.

Why is that your natural conclusion? Why aren't you thinking....jeez I must be better than I thought, if it happened once, it can happen again? Except this time when the freight train of love is steaming along I'm not going to derail it.

I think I messed up when I was being playful about asking her about the cheese cutting. She probably thought it was stupid or immature and the disappointment caused her to lose interest in me.

How many times do you have to be told that she lost interest because you didn't arrange a date while she was still hot for you? Money or not, or whatever it is going on in your life... we understand that people have lives and circumstances that prevent spending of money. However, there is no "good" or "bad" time when it comes to people being interested in you. If you want someone and they want you to, your life circumstances shouldn't stop you.

Except it probably wont happen again with a girl that hot :/ I may have to just settle for a somewhat overweight girl.

This is what I thought too. I would have been put off by that comment. But c'est la vie. You had a nice time. Take it for what it is - a pleasant experience. And frankly, I don't think all is lost with this girl. But it's time to play it cool.
Unfortunately this is taking place in a work environment. It is very difficult to make work romances work.
