You have to accept his drug use if you want to stay with him--there's no use trying to get him to give that up since it's obviously something very important in his life, like any hobby or life passion.

I would hope, though, that he use drugs responsibly, i.e. in a manner that will not injure (or kill) other people. This includes judging when it is appropriate to drive a car. I know it has been scientifically demonstrated that driving high is less likely to result in an accident than driving drunk, though I would still encourage good judgment. As a libertarian, I believe that people should be free to use drugs, but that doesn't mean I accept if people trample all over other people's freedom and safety as a result.
